Now i know all of you out there... and i know you exist, but that does not manner want to know whats up with me, but i want to know whats up with you?
Right then, okay news for me.... Ahem since i live in New Jersey and am still in High School, the news is far and few between but i shall make an attempt. It snowed yesterday and today, lots and lots of snow, big time snow, but those of you who are in the know... that rhymed.... will know that it snowed on a friggin saterday rendering it totally useless and not at all good for me. I do wonder if we will have school tommorow and my best bet will be yes because midterms start this week.... god almighty does school really put extra pressure on when it is not needed, yes i think that its good that school is around and such, but the pressure that they put on is not needed, if we got rid of all this pressure we would be a much happier people but then nothing would ever get done but eh, come on, give us a break every now and then! I dont go one week without having some sort of major drag coming down on me.
With school news out of the way will go onto the next topic, Video Games. As we draw closer and closer to the releases of some really big games its really exciting, at least for me. Many things are going to come out this year, so far we have had Resident Evil 4 and Mercenaries to hit the shelves but then if we think about it there are so many more games coming out that are gonna be good.
Quake IV, i mean come on friggin Quake! Okay yes yes yes i dont know if it will come out but come on, theres a chance! Hey man... its Quake!
The official expansion pack of Doom III, Doom III: Resurection of Evil. Okay not everyone loved Doom III but i have to say that i friggin loved it, it had an awsome story line even though it was a bit cliche but come the hell on! The atmosphere and the attention to detail was sooo massive, i mean hell, listening to a PDA journel file of a worker that worked in the pipes of the facility and about how he heard "ghosts" come on, attention to detail folks! It was playing in a movie, and a good one i might add!
We then have the next installment of Sam Fisher, Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, lovely lovely lovely i cant wait for this title either.
Okay now i come to a pet peeve of my thats been fully realized in the production of this game... StarCraft: Ghost. Sigh, shall we do with you Nova? Okay this game has been slated for release over 2 years ago and here we are, waiting patiently, I have grown to hate Blizzard for one main reason... They are not the Blizzard i knew and love when i first installed StarCraft those many years ago. The original creaters and staff have all been fired or left and they created ArenaNet and they are currently under NCsoft. The original boys started StarCraft Ghost and after much anticipation i think this year will be the year of release for our good girlfriend Nova. If this game does come out this year and its true to the original StarCraft in style, then i will have my faith reinstored for Blizzard, even though they tricked me when they announced World of WarCraft when i thought it was gonna be StarCraft 2.... stupid Blizzard.
OH HO HO HO HO HO we have a big boy rolling down the streets, and when i say Big Boy i mean a Squirl... A red Squirl, if you dont know the game im talking about then shame shame shame. This game makes me want to buy an XBox, Conker: Live and Reloaded. Just the mention of my good friend Conker reminds me of the hours spent wastin away playing Conkers Bad Fur Day on my pal the N64. Conker: Live and Reloaded is going to be a total new game with new graphics true to its hilarious original, and not only will it be true, it will have the old game with the new. Conker: Live and Reloaded will have both the new game and the original from the N64 however the old one will have the updated graphics of the new. So we shall see a Giant Mountain Of Singing POOO! YES indeed we hope we DOOOO! and this time in ALL NEW GRAPHICS. Now then just looking at Conker on this xbox, the fur looks like real fur, ive never seen anythign like it, i better stop talking about this game or i wont stop, okay next game.
Now then this will be the release of a game thats allready on the PS2 and it did huge on the PS2, and im talking about GTA: San Andreas. Its slated for PC/Xbox release this year and im giddy as hell! Now then, every time i hear that a new GTA game comes out on the PC its much better then the PS2 version. I never got the PS2 version when it came out because i just had blown my money on Doom 3 and was preparing to blow money on Half Life 2. So GTA: San Andreas will be the first GTA game i own that will be on the PC. Screenshots of the PC version look sooo purdy i cant wait!
Uh Oh! Do you hear that? I Think its a juggernought.... its Battlefield 2! I loved Battlefield 1942, loved it, loved it till expansion packs came out for it! The best time i had ever playing BF42 was before the game ever relased. BF42 was spose to release for chirstmas but the MPDemo was avaible the previous summer, and thats when i first fell in love. There was only one map but it was great, Wake Island. Lurvely! Now then this best time was when I was a good old American Marine on this little island of ours. I was playing with a freind of mine Adam. Now then Adam and I were working as a hell of a great team, and we even picked up a 3rd guy who was working with us. And the second you have 3 people working together, you get the whole team invloved, it was glorious, the Map lasted for ever and we withstood the Japs. I loved BF42 untill the game really came out because i cant stand, SMACKTARDS, hopefully this new versiion BF2 will not have too many smacktards in the begining, and they have the boys from Trauma Studios, those are the guys who did the Desert Combat mod for BF42 working on BF2, so then i await with good hopes for BF2.
Now we have a game that looks pretty damn compelling, The Movies. Salted for PS2/Xbox/PC release, this looks like a game that will sell big, from the 8 year olds playing Animal Crossing, to the 40 year olds playing the Sims 2 and the Sims Online. In this game called The Movies you pretty much play as the director of a movie studio, you manager your studio, the budgets, all the way down to your actors and how they are feeling. You direct your own movies on how you see fit. The game looks pretty damn compelling and i await eagerly for word on how the game is.
Okay then this shall be it of me and then i will head off after this long essay like post, we have my most anticipated game, The Legend Of Zelda! My god when i saw that video from last years E3 i was soo fired up i couldnt stand it! I swear if this game comes out this year, i will cry for a week, and then know that Nintendo has come back with a fighting force! The game looks sooo good, i was tricked at first and dissapointed in Nintendo when they gave me this nice disc in the mail. It was a preview of games they had slated for release for their new GameCube, and what sold me a GameCube was the video of Link, all in his glory, fighting Gannondorf, i was crying then! Then they came out with the cell-shaded Link and i had a bit of a problem but i still had my Game Cube so thats that! Okay then, that was pretty emotional heh.
