What would Dirk Diggler Do?
Dude I think i can't get more clever then that baby!
From now on, no one may say what would Jesus do, its what would Dirk Diggler Do!
Alright enough of that, i havent had a update in what seems like a millenia, but thats okay, im still alive, for those who care. Not much has happend though in my own life. Very little in fact. However at the end of August i did finally get my drivers permit!!! Thats right kiddos, i can drive, and lo and behold what happens a few weeks after me able to drive? Why Huricane Katrinia i might say! So ive pretty much been grounded from using any sort of wheels besides the Bus... Yay right?
Alright you may think my Diggler comment and see the little Digg thing leads to a porn site, well it doesnt. It leads to Digg.com, a social bookmarking website that links together the community of web users and brings webpages straight to the viewer. One can Digg the item, and when it gets Diggs, it gets to the front page.
Alright moving on, ive recently gotten into the Series swing, and ive really been taken aback. FX, the little network that could, has really gotten to be one of the best channels for series. They have a few good shows on that just started. Starved is a new one. It follows a group of 4 people that all have eating disorders. Its alot like Nip/Tuck in the sense that every character is very self-destructive, but everything is given a twist of humor. The next one i say is one of the best series ive ever seen is Over There. It bassically follows a fire-team in the Iraqi war. Though it is fictional events and the like, it really gives a good representation of what is going on in Iraq at the moment. My next series that im falling in love with doesnt come from Fox, though its foxy all around. Its called, ROME. Now i know, just from the title and whos producing it, HBO, i should of fallen in love with it when i first saw advertisments for it, and yes i did. In its current state, its following the story of Julius Caeser and how he became Emperor. All the big players are represented, Pompeii, Marc Antoney, everyone. Its got also a very nice feel to it. Though it was broadcasted as being way over the top in budget it actually isnt. But it really gives a feeling of how soceity was, but it also shows on how advanced the empire itself was. It sort of gives a look on how our current society could be with extreme Patriacal laws and people willing to knife each other in the throat for cheating at a game of dice.
Out in the game rigging department, not much is new. Some things have me pumped though, i did get a Quake 4 t-shirt the other day. Its a beauty at that. I can not wait for Quake 4. In other gamming news, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is being pushed back to April 2006 at the earliest. Some of you may have noticed that im starting to have a deep hatred of Blizzard entertainment, and its not ill-founded. Starcraft was by far one of the best games in all of history, second only too perhaps the orignal Half-Life, and Mario Bros. Blizzard who owns the licesnse has been letting it sit so they can play with their "elves, orcs and dwarves oh my!" mentality of the WarCraft Universe. It makes me sick to my stomach too that the only incarnation of the StarCraft universe is StarCraft Ghost, a game that has switched developers 3 times, has been present at E3 four times, with each one, the game progressivly looks worse and worse. However one redeeming fact is very present in StarCraft Ghost. Though the graphics in Multiplayer look about as good as my balls do in snow pants on the hottest day in summer, one tiny bit of detail was leaked at E3. It stated that in multiplayer, they are striving to allow the player to not only be part of the Terrain forces, but be able to controll Zerg and Protoss units. Very neato my freinds, very Banging.
School is starting up soon, Monday in fact. It is not a pleasant thought.... Im hoping that it is not like last year in any sense. Ive recently realized that I have repressed alot of things that have happend in my Sophmore year of highschool. Mainly because that a small part of my brain runs the diagnostics and is able to tell that if i think about certain events, it will just piss me off. So i ignore alot of stuff. I suppose it does give me a both Jaded and Naive look on the world.
Well i guess that will be all for me, i hope you all Dirk Diggler Fans be like Dirk Diggler, and DIGG ON!!!
Dirk: Aren't you gonna take your skates off?
Rollergirl: I never take my skates off.
